It is seen through the eyes of an African American single mother who suffers from Dissociative Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and whose memories of childhood horrors implode, leading to the unleashing of her destructive Alter.
I am seeking a cinematographer who is looking to make a limit-pushing, visual story with a great team. This is a SAG micro-budget film school project, 3-day shoot ( 7/9 – 11/21) with a flat fee of $750 designated for the DP, plus copy and meals.
We are grateful to have an A-list casting company on board, and the short will be submitting to film festivals. I am looking to hire a cinematographer ASAP. Please contact Keta Brown 310-502-9994 or ketabrow@msmu.edu.

You Go Girl! is created in partnership with producers Adrian Alea (ALIALEA Productions), Kamilah Long (The Black Whole, Inc.), and Courtney Williams, and is made possible, in part, by an “Outdoor Adventure Grant” from the Oregon Made Creative Foundation, Travel Oregon and Oregon Film.

Attention recent AFI Film Graduates:
I am currently looking to work with a cinematographer filming a series of comedic and dramedy video shorts in the Hollywood and Los Angeles area. I need a d.p. who has a meticulous eye for lighting and composition, who appreciates nuanced, visual story-telling, and can work well with a director. The filming will be relatively staid, not a lot of fancy camera work, more about enhancing the talent in every regard. The experienced actors on board for this project are preparing extensively and bring a high degree of professionalism. At most, each short requires one to two days of shooting, and will occur at roughly one month intervals, with occasional one hour prep meetings/virtual readings. Preferably, I need someone who has their own camera, lighting and sound equipment, or is able to rent it. Though a low budget project, there will be pay, the amount contingent on your level of expertise. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to network, enter the profession via being part of socially-constructive, independent vision with an environmental theme. Women are highly encouraged to apply.
If interested, please email me at BAlicialoves@aol.com, or call 818 398 4891.
Thank you,
Alicia Sterling Beach
