The Walt Disney Company is looking for those experienced in screening film submissions to help us select directors for our inaugural class of the Disney Launchpad: Shorts Incubator, which is a brand new opportunity for directors from underrepresented backgrounds with diverse perspectives to produce an original, live-action short for initial exhibition on Disney+. This is an opportunity for experienced screeners to help us select a diverse class of directors who will combine their unique points of view, storytelling know-how, and superior technical skills to produce original, live-action shorts that will surprise and delight global audiences. Screeners will work remotely from June through September 2019 (subject to change) and may complete work from any location in the U.S. There will be an in-house training held on the Disney lot in Burbank, CA which will be available via video conference.
To apply, please send a resume to Alyssa Navarro at firstname.lastname@example.org which includes where you have previously done screener, script review or script coverage.
