Career Coaching: Being the Boldest You in Your Entertainment Career
Unsure how to maximize all of your skills and strengths in your entertainment career? On Thursday, March 7 from 7-9 p.m. join Career Coach and Talent Agent Consultant Jim Arnoff at the Lawrence Herbert Alumni Center on the AFI Campus in an immersive, interactive workshop where you can share the obstacles that have been holding you back, envision what the boldest version of you really looks like and craft specific action steps that will give you the courage to achieve your goals. Women’s History Month Symposium at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre
In honor of Women’s History Month, The Ebell Institute is hosting a free public symposium on March 27 to cultivate a conversation around women’s history in Los Angeles. Acclaimed scholar and Manager of the AFI Catalog, Sarah Blankfort Clothier, will take part in a panel at 3 p.m. where she will screen several short films that feature women working behind the camera using LA locations. Don’t miss this insightful exploration of contemporary female artists and scholars whose contributions have far too often been overlooked or omitted from our history books.

Don’t miss your opportunity to submit to AFI FEST, an Oscar®-qualifying film festival held October 23-27, 2024! Entries for the AFI FEST 2024 Short Film competition are now open and the early deadline to submit fiction, documentary and animated short films is today, March 1!
