NOVEMBER 14–21 | AFI FEST 2019
AFI FEST presented by Audi — the American Film Institute’s annual celebration of global cinema in the heart of Hollywood — is now open for submissions! The final deadline to submit your films is July 12.
As AFI Conservatory alumni, you are eligible to submit your films for free. Contact Alumni@AFI.com for information on how to submit.
AFI CINEMATOGRAPHY INTENSIVE FOR WOMEN
The AFI CINEMATOGRAPHY INTENSIVE FOR WOMEN is a four-day, tuition-free workshop designed for women early in their journey as cinematographers, who have some on-set experience and feel like additional education would help them advance in their career and craft. The workshop will delve into the fundamentals of cinematography and participants will have the opportunity to become more fluent with the tools that help a cinematographer “paint with light.” They will leave the Intensive with the confidence to pursue higher achievement in the field.
