Class of 2021 Commencement This Fall
On Saturday, October 9, the Class of 2021 will graduate from the AFI Conservatory at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre. At the event, Academy Award®- and Emmy®-nominated actress Angela Bassett will be recognized for her contributions to the art of the moving image with an Honorary Degree while AFI Cinematography Fellows Andi Obarski and Harry Lipnick will serve as the Class of 2021 Representatives. RSVP: AFI Conservatory Visual Essay Showcase
Join us in celebrating the Visual Essays created by the Class of 2021 Cinematography graduates at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 10 at the Harmony Gold Theater. All shorts were shot on 35mm film and will be screened in-person with more details to follow.
