THE FEATURE FILM PROJECT
I am an AFI directing alumni in the process of setting up a feature film, a thriller/horror film based on one of the most unconventional and creative screenplays I have ever read. The script was under option by legendary producer Charles Roven (12 Monkeys, Batman Triology, Suicide Squad, etc) who was very committed to making the movie. I have now taken over the option to the screenplay.
Some references that come to mind are Limitless, Suicide Squad, Trainspotting, Fight Club – sounds like a strange mixture but it makes sense once the screenplay is read. Though the script stands quite uniquely on its own feet.
There are a few options in regards to production companies that have voiced their interest, but the first step is to find a directing partner.
I am searching for a co-director for this project. Are there any AFI directing alumnis (male or female) that you can recommend? Somebody who has done a few successful short films or maybe even a feature film and might be open to a co-direction?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
