Last Chance to Submit to AFI FEST 2023!
Today is the final deadline to submit your short film for consideration to the 37th edition of AFI FEST, which will take place October 25-29. If you are interested in a submission fee waiver which we are extending to all AFI Conservatory Alumni, please reach out to our Alumni Affairs team at Alumni@AFI.com to receive your code. In the cover letter section of your submission, please include your full name, your role on the film, graduation year and discipline for the AFI Festivals Team.
AFI AWARDS Announces 2023 Date
AFI announced that the AFI AWARDS 2023 honorees-only event will take place on January 5, 2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Celebrating the collaborative nature of film and television, AFI AWARDS is the only national program that honors creative teams as a whole, recognizing those in front of and behind the camera. When placed in a historical context, these stories provide a complex and rich visual record of our modern world. AFI AWARDS selections are made through a jury process where AFI Trustees, artists, critics and scholars determine the year’s most outstanding achievements and provide artistic and cultural context for the selection of each honoree. Submissions and deadlines will be announced in the coming weeks and the honorees will be announced in December 2023.
